MIDI CONTROLLER

Midisex24 is a midi controller that allows you to request 24 midi presets. The data sending is “program change”. Does not have settings for the data transmission channel; the “omnimode” system is always active to make it easier tu connect with other devices. In case to connection with that do not have this function, is possible to check the first or sixteenth RX channel. Midisex24 is equipped with “PHANTOM POWER” so that it can be powered with a single 5 pole din cable. The “phantom”, for a correct operation, needs a power supply to 12Vdc with a min current of 300mA.

Pedals Power Interface it can be managed both by phantom power and by an external power supply. In the first case the current of the outputs will depend on the current available in the phantom power; in the second case, the external power supply can guarantee the maximum power that for each outputs that is: max 500mA. All outputs are low-noise stabilized and protected from short circuits and overtemperature.

USB outputs have been designed to power or charge 5Vdc devices (as ipad etc.) that have a modest working current. Nominal current is 500mA while the peak current is 1000mA. The outputs in addition to the protections already listed are equipped with a diode for the nodischarge of battery (useful when the pedalboard is to power off).

Tilt Adjustament: The mechanical adjustment of the inclination take lace via the screws on the sides. Unscrew the screws by one turn and adjust the inclination as desired. Revers operation for locking. Maximum angle +6°.

MIDI PHANTOM POWER

MIDI receivers supply 12 VDC on pins 2 and 3, and transmitters receive power on those same pins. Many MIDI devices can be modified to supply power down the cable, but of course Cicognani engineering makes no warranty to anyone as to the applicability of this modification or any damage that might be done as a result thereof. We supply this note for those adventurous people who may want to give it a try. Connect pin 2 to circuit ground, and pin 3 to +12 VDC of the receiving unit.

MIDI OUT is an output that sends midi preset data to external device (amplifiers, rack effect, etc). It’s possible to connect infinite devices.

MIDI THRU is a midi output without phantom power that repeats the same preset sent from the main output. Has been designed to allow you to connect external pedal midi devices that are positioned near Midisex24. This way is to use more comfortable connections.

SPECIAL FUNCTION: The preset switches are equipped with a special function to send and recall the new or the last compound preset.
